We support young people and schools with adventurous learning activities
We create educational experiences!
For some young people, life can be an entangled forest or a maze. Together we can learn to navigate, survive and thrive!
We accomplish this in three ways:
Teaching, Learning, Tutoring and Mentoring
Outdoor Learning and Forest School Activities
Forest School Teacher Training
Teaching, Learning, Tutoring and Mentoring
We come alongside children and young adults to support them on a journey to success in life. For many children, navigating family life and school can be complicated or stressful. They need our support to overcome their challenges.
Outdoor Learning and Forest School Activities
We offer Forest School and Bushcraft classes. Our Forest School classes are geared towards Primary School children while our Bushcraft Programme works well for Secondary School pupils.
Forest School is an innovative educational model that facilitates the teaching of classes in the outdoors. It focuses on learner-led sessions ranging from two hours or more, where the children set the schedule.
Bushcraft is more prescriptive. In these classes we teach young people a set syllabus focusing on survival skills over a longer period of time. Equipped with this knowledge and understanding they are able to persevere in challenging natural environments.
Forest School Teacher Training - Level 3
Co Adventurers offers an accredited course to teach adults how to deliver Forest School programmes. This is led by qualified Forest School Instructors and takes place in a log cabin in the grounds of Marpool Primary School in Exmouth. New course coming pending request.
